Reporting content in the community

The quickest way to flag a post or discussion is the Report link on the item itself — it goes straight to our moderators. You can also use the form below (choose “Report content”). When something is reported we acknowledge it and, where appropriate, tell you what we did about it.

Urgent or illegal content

For serious matters — sexual content involving minors, threats of violence, image-based abuse — use the form and choose “Urgent — illegal content” so we prioritise it. We act on illegal material as quickly as we can, remove it, and report it to law enforcement and the eSafety Commissioner where required.

Appealing a moderation decision

If you've been warned, muted, or had your community access removed and you think it's wrong, use the form and choose “Appeal a moderation decision.” A different person will review it where possible.

The national regulator

You can also report online harms to Australia's eSafety Commissioner at esafety.gov.au.
